HOUSE INSTRUCTIONS

House Instructions


Villa Marga, Pollensa. Camí de Llenaire, near to electric substation. Polígon 3, Parcela 183.


KEYS

Please take care of the keys. The key for the safe box has to be left with the main door key in the key box on your departure day. During your stay you can keep it in your bedroom or in a safe place on the property. Do not take keys with you when going out, you could lose them and suffer the inconvenience. The cost for replacing the key can be expensive. Use the key box next to the main entrance. Please do not remove keys from other doors of the property.


FIRE EXTINGUISHER AND FIRE BLANKET

There is an extinguisher on the wall of the corridor from the kitchen going out to the BBQ area. The fire blanket is near the kitchen hob.


SATELLITE TV

There are instructions stuck near the TV.


INTERNET

The router is in the sitting room near the fireplace. The code (*********) is under the router.


SAFE BOX

Read the instructions in the villa. 


LIGHTS AND ILLUMINATION

The fuse box is in the corridor of the kitchen next to the bathroom. All the fuses are named.

Normally, there should not be any problem, but if there is a fault with one of the electrical appliances or a storm, this could cause one of the fuses switches to trip [jump] and in this case the switches can be raising one to one and leave down the one that the automatic one makes jump to keep on having part of the supply.

This will ensure that you have power until we can rectify the problem. It could also just be that too many appliances are being used all together at the same time and a power surge has caused the power supply to jump. If none of the above scenarios apply, it could be a local power supply failure and in this case we will have to contact the electrical company and/or wait until the power supply is turned on again. There is a torch in the small draw of the unit next to the fridge. Keep the torch stored here in case there is a power cut.


CROCKERY

There are wine glasses, plates, glasses, coffee cups... in the kitchen cupboards and units. Plastic for children, do not use glass near the pool area. Kitchen equipment. Juicer, hand blender, toaster, coffee machine, kettle, iron...


WATER

Do not drink the tap water only for boiling. To drink you should buy the bottles of 5 liters that they sell in all the supermarkets.


CLEANING UTENSILS/SPRAYS

Extra toilet paper rolls are the bathrooms, tablets for the dishwasher next to it, cleaning products..., spray ants / flies / mosquito, under the kitchen sink.


WC

They all run on a septic tank. Please do not throw down sanitary towels, tampons, or nappies inside.


DOORS AND WINDOWS

In case of rain or wind, please close the shutters and put the exterior furniture under the porch. Be extra careful with glass doors or windows.


RUBBISH

Please dispose of the rubbish on a daily basis in the public refuse containers, the closet bins are in the main road. Please note: it is very important not to leave rubbish

lying around and crumbs etc on surfaces, due to the hot climate, this will attract ants in seconds.


DISHWASHER

Very important “Use only products for the dishwasher”. When it runs out of salt or brighter, the red light comes on - please refill the products if they are required, they are in the cupboard near the dishwasher or advice. For a normal program turn the dial to the left and start (I).


WASHING MACHINE

It is situated outside at the rear of the house. For a normal wash, turn the dial to the left to “SINTETICO” and press start (I). Do not force the door to open. Use only washing machine products.


CAUTION

DON’T CHANGE THE PLUG OF THE KETTLE PLEASE. NOT TURN ON THE OVEN AND THE AIR CONDITIONING AT THE SAME TIME PLEASE.


CLOTHES LINE AND PEGS

There are a few washing lines with pegs to hang the washing, next to the washing area.


IRON AND IRON BOARD

There is an iron board and iron i n the wardrobe of the bedroom next to the dining room.


DISHCLOTHS, TABLECLOTHS AND PLACEMATS

These are stored in the kitchen and dining room drawers.


POOL

The gardener will visit several times a week and the pool will be cleaned at least twice. Their names are “Pep” and “Xisco”.


EXTERIOR POOL LIGHTS

They work with a timer from 21:00h to 24:00h approx.


BBQ

Please take care with the fire and its embers, please empty the ashes you have used. Have a water bucket to hand when in use.


FLOORS

Take special care when walking barefoot with wet feet on tiles of the house, patio and stairs.


CLEANING

The house will be clean when you arrive. The cleaners “Marga and Antonia” will come after 3 nights to change towels and do a light clean. After 7 nights they will come to change bed linen.


AIR CONDITIONING AND FIREPLACE USE

All the rooms have air conditioning running as free charge from 20:00hrs to 08:00hrs. If you want it all day it will be an extra charge of 100€ per week.

If you want to use the fireplace at the petrol station or big supermarket you will find firewood. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any help.

DEPARTURE DAY

Please leave the property clean and tidy. Dispose of all the rubbish, clean, dry and put away all dishes, empty out BBQ. If the cleaners have not arrived at your departure, please close all the windows and doors and do not forget to leave the main door key with a safe box key in the key box. You will need to vacate your villa by 10:00 am. We advise you to plan your arrival at the airport AT LEAST 2 hours before your scheduled departure time. This way you will avoid queues of traffic and unnecessary inconvenience. Remember that the journey to Palma airport takes around 50 minutes.

YOUR PERSONAL SAFETY AND SECURITY

Only take out with you what you need - we would recommend that you leave any valuables or surplus cash in a safety deposit box or other secure place within your

accommodation. Securely fasten all doors, windows, grilles and shutters when you leave the property, even if it is just for a short time. When you go out, never leave personal items around the swimming pool or in the garden. Remember to lock your door at night and when you go out during the day, just as you would at home. Lost or stolen items must be reported to the police as soon as possible and certainly within 24 hours of the discovery.

Please call the Police at (0034) 971 530 437 or Guardia Civil at 062, advise of your situations: “Camí de Llenaire, near subestación eléctrica. Polígono 3, parcela 183”. Also, you can to call Emergency (112).

It is the owner's policy that all complaints are resolved locally wherever possible, to ensure continued enjoyment of your holiday. In order to do so, it is important that you bring any problems to the owner’s attention immediately (at least within 48 hours) so that we may have the opportunity to rectify the problem as quickly as possible.
